| — Warden to Harley Sawyer, Warden Office 8/8/1995 | ||
The Warden was the prison's warden and possibly Playtime Co.'s Head of Security. He had his own office in the prison. Along with most of Playtime Co.'s staff, he was most likely killed during The Hour of Joy on August 8, 1995.
Personality[]
The Warden is a difficult character to describe in terms of personality. However, through a VHS tape in Chapter 4, he seems to be a very introverted person and tends to keep to himself, based on his interactions with The Doctor.
History[]
Backstory[]
The Warden was put in charge of the prison and had his own office there. It is unknown if he was the first warden the prison had, as others might have had his position before.
The Hour of Joy[]
During the Hour of Joy, the Warden managed to escape into a room which he locked himself in and he contacted The Doctor, expressing his confusion as to how the toys had managed to escape and perform such a rebellion even with all the security measures of the facility. He explained that someone would need to have executive access to get through all the security in the factory, and that only Leith, Stella, Eddie, and himself had that kind of clearance. The Doctor told the Warden that he could use his executive access to get out, but the Warden replied that using it wouldn’t help him escape safely, not with all the experiments wreaking havoc. The Warden proceeded to describe the atrocities he had seen outside, so The Doctor offered to help get the Warden out of the factory if he gave him his Omni-Hand, as that would allow him to make a safe pathway to an exit. The Warden, while hesitant at first, eventually accepted. It is most likely he was killed after this, either by Sawyer who almost definitely mislead him or by Yarnaby, who reunites with Sawyer at the end of the Chapter 4 Console Trailer.[1]

Trivia[]
- Considering he was among the people with executive access, it is likely that the 5th slide in Chapter 2 belonged to him.
- If so, the letters scattered by said slide, previously speculated to spell out the name of The Player, would actually be spelling out the Warden's name. It would likely be "Ebony Jamiah", a name speculated by The Game Theorists which can be made when using the letters found.
