The Train Station is a location seen in Poppy Playtime, debuting in Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep". It is a reoccurring setting, which was previously used by employees to traverse around Playtime Co.'s lower sectors. This is also the area where the Train crashes.
Accessing[]
After crashing the Train in Chapter 2, The Player is abducted by CatNap. CatNap drags The Player's unconscious body and throws it down the Trash Chute, leading to the Trash Compactor. The Player manages to escape, and soon after, a mysterious figure named Ollie contacts them, revealing a plan to thwart CatNap's destructive ways. Ollie guides The Player to the Train Station in an effort to end CatNap's reign of terror.
Appearance[]
The Train Station serves as a general location for the train to make a stop at, with a set of yellow neon lights around the tunnel walls. At the station itself, there is a set of 2 tripod gates with a statue of Huggy Wuggy in the middle of it with some blood spattered on it as well. These gates lead to some stairs which head up to Elliot's Express.
There are also two doors on each side of the room. one that leads to the security room, and the other to the power room. In the security room, there is a desk with 15 monitor screens above it showing static, and another door that leads to the power room. On the train tracks, there is some scattered debris that came from the ceiling, and to the left of the door leading to the Trash Compactor area, there is a burning wreck of what remains of the Train that the Player once used to try and escape the toy factory.
History[]
RESTRICTED_relocation[]
The Train Station makes its first appearance near the beginning of the tape with several Playtime Co. workers standing on the platform, watching Kissy Missy being loaded onto a train for relocation to Playcare as part of the Bigger Bodies Contingency Plan.
Project: Playtime[]
At the start of the game, the train first arrives at the train station; however, unlike in Chapter 3, it appears slightly different.
Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web"[]
While The Player was on the Train, it began to pick up too much speed, forcing the Player to pull the emergency break to stop it.
This, of course, completely derailed the Train, causing The Player to hit their head hard, making them pass out, but not before seeing a sign that indicates the direction of Playcare.
Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep"[]
The Train Station is first seen after escaping the Trash Compactor area and unlocking a door with Ollie's help.
Upon arriving at the station, The Player must restore power to the tripod gates in order to access Elliot's Express and reach Playcare.
Trivia[]
- The Train Station is the second location to appear in more then one chapter, with the first being the Secret Door.
- The station was first mentioned by Poppy Playtime in the pervious chapter in the Maintenance Closet.
- Considering how the station looks different in Project: Playtime, it is likely that there is more than one station for different locations.
