Stuart And Rich is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep" of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be obtained within the Caverns nearby one of the bridges. The tape records a conversation between Rich and Stuart as they're delivering a shipment to Playcare. During the tape, CatNap’s claw can be seen.

The tape begins with Rich and his colleague Stuart entering Elliot's Express to deliver a shipment to Playcare. Stuart and Rich have a brief conversation about Playcare, with the latter voicing his discontent in the orphanage's underground location and constructed facade of the upper world. Stuart then brings up his upcoming retirement, which led to Playtime Co.'s insistence that he choose his replacement. Much to Rich's surprise, Stuart has considered him for the role, as he sees "an honest, hardworking man" in him. The tape ends shortly thereafter.

Rich: "Stupid clunky elevator."
Rich: "Nothing, nothing." "Let's just get this shipment dropped and go." Stuart: "I take it you're not a fan of this place? Are you?" Rich: "Nope. Never liked the feel of it." "I mean don'tcha think those kids deserve some real sunlight instead of floodlights and painted skies?" "Hell, we're not even allowed to talk to these kids, isn't that-" "Ahem- Sorry Stu." Stuart: "Sorry? That doesn't sound like the Rich I know." Rich: "Well... I'm trying to stop being so pissed off all the time." "My wife says I'm a lovely man, but I gotta control my temper." "So I'm doing it for her." Stuart: (chuckle) "You're just different, Rich." "Honest to a fault." "But I always liked that about you." Rich: "Yeah? You're one of the few." Stuart: "You know Richie, with my retirement coming up, uhm... they've been pushing hard for me to choose my replacement." "I'm thinking about giving the role to you." Rich: "Really?" Stuart: "Really. Nothing official yet." "But I think there's a decent guy beneath all that gruff." "An honest, hardworking man." "You prove me right- I'd say your chances are pretty good." Rich: "Wow, I uh..." "I don't know what to say!" "I'm just... glad to see not everyone in this place has it out for me." Stuart: "Not everybody, Rich. Not everybody." |

The audio file for this VHS tape was updated in the patch on February 14, 2024. Stuart's Voice Actor, Alberto Garcia Sotur, was replaced in the updated file and his dialogue is now read by a new actor. The reasons for this switch are not listed in the patch notes for the update, and the credits do not appear to reflect the change.
