Stella Greyber Interview is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" of Poppy Playtime. The tape, which is found in the Make-A-Friend room, plays a truncated recording featuring an unknown man interviewing Stella Greyber about her job at the toy production company Playtime Co. During the tape, a hand, most likely Stella's, is seen.

Plot[]
A man, presumably being an official interviewer, gets straight to the point asking Stella the following:
"So, Stella, what made you want to work at the Playtime Co. factory?
Stella Greyber reacts optimistically, explaining that at a young age, Stella would play with toys and described the feeling as "magical". The feeling of switching from her simple bedroom to an entire alternative world that Stella can control was "such a great feeling." Stella, years later, explains that this same feeling can be felt when working for Playtime Co. Stella Greyber continues, wishing she could go back to her years as a child, acknowledging that:
Adults are just kids, but older! (...) But you're body just gets older... and older... and then you die. Poof!"
Stella goes off-topic and rambles about human life, explaining how humans can't live forever. However, she wishes for the opportunity to live longer, similarly to a tree having the ability to live for decades until death. The Interviewer cuts her off, stating that they had gone a little off-track before the tape ends.
Theorizing[]
Stella Greyber Interview sparked the theory that the Poppy Playtime toy worked with in Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web" has been taken over by Stella Greyber after being experimented on to fulfill Stella's dream of staying young forever. However, as of recent chapters, this theory has shifted from Stella possessing Poppy to Elliot Ludwig's dead relative (speculated to be Ludwig's daughter).

"So, Stella, what made you want to work at the Playtime Co. factory?" Stella Greyber:"Playing with toys when I was young was so magical. I could go straight from my bedroom floor to anywhere in the world. It was such a great feeling. And... being able to work at a toy factory... somewhere that can provide kids with that same experience... That's a pretty great feeling too! Stella Greyber:Sometimes though... I really, really wish I could go back. To being a kid, I mean. And it's weird, 'cause... adults are just kids, but older! I don't think anyone ever really feels like an adult? But your body just gets older... and older... and then you die. Poof! *Laughs* Stella Greyber:Human bodies just can't stay young forever. There's things though, like some trees that can stay alive even while being way older than a person! I mean, the oldest people to ever live are STILL younger than those! So I guess everyone is always young relative to something... Right?" Interviewer: "Alright, I think we're getting a little off-track." |
