The Statues Tutorial is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web" of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be obtained after entering Statues. The tape itself informs the children playing through the Game Station on how to play the Statues game.

An unknown narrator is heard narrating the tape, welcoming The Player to the Statues game. He continues with the tape, explaining that the game is an advanced obstacle course designed to test The Player's physical endurance and strength. The narrator explains that the rules are simple, with said rules being to only move when the lights are off. When the lights are on, stand completely still.
The narrator finalizes the tape by explaining the main gimmick of the game, with that being the loveable PJ Pug-a-Pillar chasing The Player as they go through the game. PJ can walk both when the lights are on and off, and if PJ reaches The Player, the test is officially over. The narrator concludes the tape by wishing them good luck.
