The Shelf Station is a location seen in Chapter 4: Safe Haven of Poppy Playtime.
This location is a station that was used to transport toys into The Shelf.
Appearance[]
The Shelf Station has a train carrying two cells as carriages, with an open cell above it held by a crane. Inside it is Riley's corpse containing a utility room key. In addition, around the back of the train, there are four Crates, one larger and one smaller on the left side and the same on the right side above a platform. On this right side, there are two Power Poles and behind the main car, there are power symbols above a receiver Power Socket. Near the utility room door, there is the fifth and Riley Journal's final document, and inside it, there is a shelf containing the Break Time tape, a power generator, a transmitter Power Socket, and a light blue VCR player above a desk.
Gameplay[]
After taking a shortcut through the Toy Graveyard, The Player descends from above, moves forward, and uses their Purple Hand on the Jump Pads to jump over non-continuous paths, walks across a bar, and uses their GrabPack on a Grapple Handle, arriving at the Shelf Station. Upon arrival, Ollie calls them and talks about the Toy Graveyard, emphasizing what Poppy Playtime said about the layer The Player is in, but adding that he has seen worse. He asks them to be careful and then hangs up the phone.
After that, The Player then looks for a way to activate the train, and then goes to the other side of the station, finding two crates that take them up to the cell, and walks towards the cell hanging from a crane, and entering it, they take a key that was inside Riley's corpse. Upon exiting the cell, they proceed to the station's power room and gain access using the key. The Player uses the GrabPack on the transmitter Power Socket, connects the two Power Poles and hits the receiver, activating the train. They then enter a cell and the train proceeds to the other side of The Shelf.
However, there is an interruption and the train stops; in the middle of a dark cell, a television turns on and The Doctor introduces himself to The Player, welcoming them as an intruder and decides to play a game with them, emphasizing that there is nowhere they can hide from him. The train starts moving again and accelerates rapidly until there is an accident.
