The Screening Room is a room dedicated to playing lore-tied VHS Tapes within Project: Playtime. Currently, only two VHS Tapes can be viewed within the room.
The VHS Tapes follow a story about the Bigger Bodies Initiative, which was first revealed on Rowan Stoll's Computer Database.
Appearance[]
In Phase 1, the Screening Room is a compact, white room with little to be scrutinized. The main focus of the room is the large, old-school television set sitting on a gray table alongside a VHS Tape we can play. However, around the room, a Huggy Wuggy toy can be seen on the same counter, with a Quiet Huggy poster seen on the top left.
In Phase 2, the room has gotten a major glow-up. There is now a red, blue, and yellow VCR Player on top of the TV and a red tray containing the VHS tapes to the right of the TV. There's now a red and blue swiveling chair in front of the counter and a gray filing cabinet under it, with a few yellow and blue files on top. In addition, the counter now has boxes on both sides. A yellow Playtime Co. mug, a Huggy mouse pad topped with a white mouse, and a Huggy candy bar are seen on the left side of the table. The Quiet Huggy poster has been replaced with a GrabPack Huggy cutout and a red 1980s mobile phone with eyes and a smiling mouth, a blue receiver, and a yellow wall mount. There is also a Boxy Carrying Boxes poster above the VHS tape holder.

Storyline[]
VHS Tape #1[]
Main Article: Can you hear us? Can you see this?[]
Harley Sawyer, also known as the Doctor, talks about how Playtime Co. is failing due to declining profits, lack of safety, and the constant threat of a lawsuit. He pitches the idea of the Bigger Bodies Initiative, claiming that it will solve these problems all at once. He requests to be put in charge of the project. The tape glitches as we are informed that a group of entities, theorized to be The Prototype, have reached out to us, wondering if we are trustworthy to assist them in the decline of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. They inform us about a gift we will receive, then stop the one-sided interaction.
VHS Tape #2[]
Main Article: Your gift has finally arrived.[]
Harley Sawyer visits Boxy Boo, who he calls "the first of many" and declares the Bigger Bodies Initiative a success. He decides to conform the experiment's hunger to human flesh and requests for an update on Rowan Stoll's situation. However, he spots an unidentified cameraman and yells at them to turn off their camera. The tape glitches as the entities welcome us back, stating that their gift is a new telephone placed in the Screening Room. They claim they are working on establishing a secure connection. When they try to end the conversation, they recognize that we want answers, yet they wonder why, stating that we made them. After replying that they'll be in touch, the one-sided conversation stops.
