| “ | While active, all indicators on the survivors' screens will disappear. Things such as the location of the train, toy parts, and all active puzzles will no longer be visible to survivors, With this, you can disorient survivors and attack while they're dazed and confused! | — Directionless' description, PROJECT: PLAYTIME | ||
Directionless is a scrapped sabotage within PROJECT: PLAYTIME. This sabotage caused useful tips, such as the location of the train, Toy Parts, and Toy Machine Deposits to not appear from the Specialists' perspective. This sabotage was beneficial for Monsters, as it allowed the monster to catch clueless Specialists. As of Phase 3, this sabotage has been merged with Living Nightmare and is no longer available in the list of sabotages.
Reliability[]
Directionless was a useful sabotage if playing against inexperienced Specialists who had just started playing, as more experienced Specialists could easily learn routes and locations of certain areas around the maps. However, in some cases, this sabotage could really shine to fulfill its purposes. By using it during the end-game, Monsters could easily trick Specialists into falsely going to the train if it had already been called to the other side. Monsters could also down a Specialist with a Toy Part, then use the sabotage to, in a way, hide the part.
