The Race Car is a toy and obstacle found within Home Sweet Home, being introduced in Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep".
Appearance[]
The Race Car is a large, roughly three foot long drag race car painted with a blue body with yellow flames and a red rear wing. The word "Playtime" is emblazoned on the rear wing in white. They are powered by a pull string with a yellow ring.
Usage[]
Race cars are located in the Home Sweet Home orphanage while exploring the interior. They can be used to clear away debris blocking The Player's path. When the player pulls back their strings, they will begin to rev up. Once released, they will race forward and destroy obstacles in front of them, often catching on fire afterwards.
Trivia[]
- Other than pulling their pull strings, race cars cannot be interacted with.
- If the player dies after using a race car, the reloaded game will feature the race car returned to its original place. It may not be interacted with further. This is likely a bug.
- The Race Car can push Miss Delight if you cheat and spawn it in the School during her chase.[1]
