The Purple Hand, sometimes referred to as the Jump Hand or Rocket Hand, is a GrabPack hand that looks similar to the others, but has many wires and two circuit boards visible.
This hand gives The Player the ability to launch themselves into the air by hitting purple Jump Pads.
History[]
Chapter 3: Deep Sleep[]
As The Player makes their way through the Gas Production Zone, they find the Purple Hand attached to the GrabPack 2.0. After collecting it, they use it to navigate through areas with large open spaces by propelling themselves using Purple Hand Jump Pads, then landing safely using air jets installed on the GrabPack 2.0.
Chapter 4: Safe Haven[]
The Purple Hand is also frequently used throughout this chapter, with it serving the same purpose as in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. However, after The Player leaves the Secondary Lab, when attempting to use the Purple Hand on a Jump Pad, The Doctor ambushes them, breaking the equipment and taking The Player to the Holding Area.
