Poppy Playtime Escape Trials in Fortnite is a gameplay trailer for Fortnite. It was uploaded onto Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel.
The trailer showcases an official Poppy Playtime-themed map for Fortnite which was created as part of the Fortnite collaboration.
Analysis[]
The trailer begins with a black screen displaying the Mob Entertainment and Fortnite logos on top of each other. The screen changes to another one in the style of a VHS tape labeled "Explore Playtime Co.", with "Playtime Co." stylized in its logo.
The gameplay scenes show the Fortnite map code and money on the right side of the screen, while some contain a Cat-Bee symbol and next to it a number indicating the number of Toy Parts. Sequential scenes show a player walking through locations identical to Game Station and Make-A-Friend Room, passing through a conveyor belt, entering a cave with another player, passing through a corridor similar to a wind duct with two other players, and entering a large room that connects other rooms by bridges separating waters. The scene cuts to a black screen in VHS style with the words “SOLVE DEVIOUS PUZZLES” written on it.
The next scenes show the player circling a large cake in a room somewhat similar to the Lobby, solving a puzzle, hitting a Mini Huggy in a place identical to Wack-a-Wuggy, pulling levers, throwing the Blue Hand into a scanner while throwing the Red Hand onto a round green plate, and using their GrabPack on a ruined KickinChicken. The scene cuts once again to another VHS screen, but this time it says "FACE DEADLY ENEMIES".
Two consecutive scenes show the player managing to escape from Huggy Wuggy with the gate closing while he was still in a place full of walkways, and the player running away from another ruined KickinChicken. A third VHS screen appears with the words "GET OUT ALIVE" written on it, followed by sequential scenes showing the player once again escaping from Huggy Wuggy through the gate while still in a place identical to Statues, Huggy appearing while the player and another character were walking through the cave corridor, and a Huggy's jumpscare.
The trailer ends with a promotional screen of the map with the official Mob Entertainment logo stamped in the upper right corner of the screen.
