The Playtime Co. Virtual Security System is a camera system within the Playtime Co. factory that was first mentioned in Playtime Co.'s Merch Tape. A mini ARG was created with the security system acting as its main feature. Mommy Long Legs would appear on the accessible camera feeds before she was fully revealed in the Chapter 2 Official Trailer. The ARG site now resides in a static format.
The security system would make more returns in the future, with its first re-appearance being in the Project: Playtime Unlockable ARG, in which camera feeds teasing locations in PROJECT: PLAYTIME could be found. Its second return was in the Chapter 3 Interactable ARG, albeit with no camera system labelling. Its third return was in the Chapter 4 Icepick ARG, though only the audio feed was accessible to users. The security system would also appear in various VHS tapes such as RESTRICTED_disappearance_06-18-1992.mp4 and the Doey the Doughman Commercial VHS.
Chapter 2 Virtual Leak ARG
| “ | Legals tell me we recently had an online leak of our internal security feed.. So uhh... Do NOT go digging around for that.. | ” |

The Chapter 2 Virtual Leak ARG was an alternate reality game held by Mob Entertainment to tease their second chapter to Poppy Playtime, "Fly in a Web".
History
After being teased by Leith Pierre during Playtime Co.'s Merch Tape, a new website was discovered by fans that would only offer three camera feeds featuring the Lobby, the hallway to the Make-A-Friend Room, and the catwalks leading to the Poppy Area - all depicted with a grainy, vintage filter. In November of 2021, a bloody Cat-Bee toy could be seen laying on the floor covered in blood. Approximately three days later, this Cat-Bee doll disappeared and all that remained was a trail of blood.
A few days later, fans realised that the cameras appeared to shine bright when staying on them long enough. A month passed before on January 20, 2022, a hand connected to an elastic wire emerged on Camera 08, this teasing Mommy Long Legs. The security system would undergo two URL changes the following year, constantly being shut down and reinstated. From October of 2022, the cameras would officially only appear as static and the website would no longer be updated.

Other Appearances
Project: Playtime Unlockable ARG
During PROJECT: PLAYTIME's ARG, fans would crack passwords that were hiding lore secrets, along with security camera footage that captured various locations such as the Theater and the Playtime Factory. A few other areas within the building were also shown through the camera system, as well as Rowan Stoll's death by the hands of Boxy Boo, which was revealed in the final discovery of the whole ARG.
Chapter 3 Interactable ARG
The Chapter 3 Interactable ARG took place on an emulated computer, owned by Leith Pierre. One of the applications on the computer was named "CCTV Network" and contained feeds of eight cameras. Each one featured locations from Chapter 2: Fly in a Web, and later in the ARG, more camera feeds were added revealing locations for Chapter 3: Deep Sleep.
Chapter 4 Icepick ARG
Fans worked through a computer terminal in the Chapter 4 Icepick ARG, in which they could access various directories. Within the "applications" directory was the Virtual Security System, however, there was no visuals available, only audio. The audio mainly consisted of strange noises and each camera's audio would occasionally change throughout the entire ARG.

Trivia
- During the time of the Chapter 2 Virtual Leak ARG, not much speculation would undergo as the community was still relatively small at the time. However, a lot more speculation would emerge following the final documented update of the camera system that we now know was teasing the antagonist Mommy Long Legs and her Elastic Plastic. Fans of the series would speculate this hand to be a new GrabPack hand or even a bloody hand stain alongside a rope jammed in the Make-a-Friend Machine. It wouldn't be until the release of the Digital Collectibles that discussion about a new antagonist would ensue.
- The timer in the Security Camera website didn't change for Daylight Savings time.
- Multiple variants of this website are backed up on the Wayback Machine.[1]
- The P.C.V.S.S cameras have been updated over time.
- In the security website's camera feeds, they're revealed to be on version 95.1.207 according to numbers on the top right corner.
- In camera feeds from the Project: Playtime Unlockable ARG, the cameras are on the earlier version of 40.1.142.
