This page, Minor Locations, serves to list off all locations that serve little to no purpose in the game, and are generally considered "Minor". These locations range from puzzles, simple accessory rooms, and more.
Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze"[]
The Player's Home[]
The Player's home appears in the opening of the game, only showing the close-up of a table with the "FIND The FLOWER" letter and a VHS tape which features a tampered version of the Vintage Poppy Commercial (which they play on a VCR they own in the opening cutscene). It's unknown if this is a house or apartment, and how far it is from the Playtime Co. factory.
Stairway to Hell[]
The Stairway to Hell is an inaccessible stairwell, notable by its vandalised sign where underneath the word "stairway" is written in red "TO HELL". It is unknown whether the stairs go up or down, though the reference to hell may indicate that it descends, possibly warning that descending deeper into the factory will meet The Player with more hellish scenarios and enemies. Even when it's not accessible, there is a staircase there.
Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web"[]
[]

Navigation Room
The Navigation Room is a room filled with five large closed doors: Game Station, Innovation, Playplace, Research, and Production. The room appears after finding the Poppy Key, opening Elliot Ludwig's Office, and exiting the Backrooms. The room acts as a "navigation room," presumably for Elliot Ludwig to quickly move across the factory, as the slide that is taken results in coming out of Elliot's tunnel.
The room is a very minor room, and is only seen during the cutscene where Poppy gets kidnapped by Mommy Long Legs. The room has a very similar look to the entire factory, with the colorful tiled floor, white walls with red bottom edges, and the familiar locked doors seen all throughout in the factory.
In the center of the room, a large tunnel-hole is seen that must be jumped into to progress through the game.
Senior Staff Access Hall[]

Higher-Up Tunnels
The Senior Staff Access Hall is an extremely minor, but somewhat important area for lore purposes. The small part of the Game Station Hallway shows tunnels that presumably are used by higher-ups to navigate their way through the factory.
In order, the employees shown include: Eddie M.N. Ritterman, Leith Pierre, Elliot Ludwig, Stella Greyber, and an unknown fifth slide with letters that has been seen decaying off. The letters are J, A, H, Y, E, O, N, B, A, I, and M.
A theory has circulated around that these letters spell a "name" for the unnamed protagonist, The Player. The theory is that The Player is the Head of Production, and how they are one of the higher-ups in the factory. Using these letters, a presumed name for the Player is "Jamie B. Honey." (Although the extra 'A' was replaced with an 'E', which would instead make it "Jamie B. Honay".) Another name that has been speculated is "Jay Bohemian".
However, this theory was debunked due to the fact that Harley Sawyer does not recognize The Player in Chapter 4: "Safe Haven". This indicates that they were a low ranking employee when they are hired at the company. This makes it possible that The Player was unaware of the Bigger Bodies Initiative when working at the factory. Though it is most likely that the Fifth Slide Belongs to the Warden not The Player.
Access Passages[]
These corridors were used for moving things around the factory. They could also be used to exit in an emergency. There is power lift that needs new power routing here.
GrabPack Storage[]

GrabPack Storage
GrabPack Storage is a storage unit entirely dedicated to storing GrabPacks for the children in need of them when playing the Wack-a-Wuggy minigame. This room can be seen right outside. The room serves no purpose at all, besides being a little "prop area." The room is a small, condensed room with a cage covering a shelf of GrabPack hands and pieces.
This is also possibly the room that Theodore Grambell stole a GrabPack from, although it's mentioned that he stole a Green Hand, and there are none displayed here.
Staircase[]

The Staircase seen from bottom to top.
The Staircase is a large, rundown destroyed staircase themed with a red, blue, and yellow color. This minor area is only seen and used to navigate back to the Game Station after The Player defeats the Mini Huggies.
The area is also the location of the Kissy Missy Trophy, which is seen on one of the steps.
Statues Watchtower[]

Statues Watchtower
The Statues Watchtower is a minor room within Statues. The room is the area taken to escape PJ Pug-a-Pillar before The Player runs into a pile of debris. The room has a table going across an entire wall with TVs, toys, etc. This room also contains Assessment Form (S. Abell) and Assessment Form (M. Lata). Multiple holes and locked doors scatter the area, although one hole will result in going into the cave part of the factory, which leads to Water Treatment.
Power Routing Room[]
This room is easy to identify by the four colored levers on the walls. You must operate these levers in the correct sequence. You have to grapple up with your GrabPack and check the numbers on the batteries to figure out the sequence.
Conveyor Outlet[]
This is just an access point for the conveyor system. It has a Candy Cat mural on the wall. The lever here activates the conveyor belt.
Grinder Room[]
The Grinder Room is a small room containing, you guessed it, a grinder. The Player actually end up killing Mommy Long Legs using the grinder. This grinder was used to break up large pieces of waste before they're disposed of.
Bay 09[]

Bay 09 is a location in the Playtime Co. factory, which debuted in Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web". It is a minor room that only serves as a way to return to the Game Station, after The Player defeats and exterminates Mommy Long Legs. Bay 09 is an abandoned, rusted room full of large pipes, stairs, and wires. The Player goes through this area to get to the Game Station, after escaping Mommy Long Legs.
Alongside this, the room contains the story-revealing VHS Tape Log 08502 at the very top of the many staircases, which leads back to the Game Station.
Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep"[]
Playground[]

The Playground seen inside of Playcare.
The Playground is one of the locations in Playcare where the children could mostly use when they’re bored.
Playcare’s Generator Room[]

Playcare’s Generator Room is a room located in the middle of Playcare inside of the dome. This is where Ollie sends The Player keys to access most locations in Playcare. It contains a machine with lots of eyes and wires. This machine was most likely Playcare's main generator, as it appears to be destroyed after Playcare's power got killed.
Toy Store[]

The exterior of the Toy Store.
The Toy Store is one of the locations inside of Playcare that would act as a store for children to buy toys. The place is inaccessible as the door is barricaded with many items and toys.
Originally, in development, the Toy Store was an accessible location, however the area was scrapped.
Duck Pond[]

The Duck Pond seen in Playcare.
An inaccessible pool with three ducks floating inside; however, the GrabPack is still able to interact with the ducks.
Chapter 4: "Safe Haven"[]
Foreman's Office[]
A small office that contains the Caution: Red Smoke document. It's unknown what kind of foreman worked here. One of the walls has collapsed, giving us an enormous view of the caves outside.
Caves 1C[]
After exiting the Lift Control Room, you enter this cave system. It has a little parkour to get you used to the controls. At some point while traversing the caves, you can hear Kissy Missy's screams from above, who is likely being attacked by The Prototype.
Checkpoint 1A[]
Entered after traversing through Caves 1C, you end up in this small resting point. It contains a few dead Smiling Critter plushies, and the Flare Hand Safety Video VHS tape. It was most likely a resting place for the workers at Playtime Co, and also one final stop before reaching the Prison's entrance.
Warden's Office[]

Warden's Office.
Box Storage[]
A room full of boxes that have Warrenbach's logo on them. When crouching under some shelves, Yarnaby suddenly comes through a vent. Thankfully, Doey is able to distract him by setting some boxes on fire. The Player quickly makes their way to the vent at the other side, and while doing so, they find another Cole Journal Entry.
Server Rooms[]
Upon entering the location, they find a VHS tape about a meeting between the Higher-ups. They have to avoid Yarnaby's detection while navigating the place.
Battery Shelving[]

Battery Shelving
After making it through the Server Rooms, The Player finds themselves in a shelving area for batteries. after making it past some shelves, and grabbing another note, the player approaches a long hallway. Yarnaby then emerges from the shelves, and starts chasing the player. They barely escape through a door.
Archives Room[]

Archives Room
This is the place where all of Playtime's important documents were kept. There are few things that can be found here, such as a Pianosaurus cutout and a final Entry of Cole's Journal.
Kitchen[]

Kitchen
A kitchen area full of body bags. The Cryptic Letter can be found here on one of the shelves. After making it through a hallway a lever can be found, aswell as a feral Touille plush, which tries to attack the player. After placing the lever in and lifting the fridge, The Player can make their way to Safe Haven.
Power Room 2F[]
A power room with a few desks and a blue keycard. You need a lever to open it, which can be found nearby. It contains a power switch, which you need to progress through No Man's Land.
Sawyer's Office[]
You can access this office after grabbing the key found in the Doctor's Labyrinth. This is where Harley Sawyer worked on his projects.
Construction Tunnels[]

Construction Tunnels
A series of tunnels which Doey chases you through. The tunnels seem to have become very unstable, as multiple times a barrage of rocks comes fallig from above. The Untitled tape can be found here, though it is very hard to grab.
Underground Garage[]

Underground Garage
Right after defeating Doey, you end up in an underground garage. The VHS player for the Untitled Tape can be found here. This probably used to be a storage for the trucks that they used to transport the rubble of the Mining Pit.
VHS Tapes[]

Storage B[]
Storage B is a location in the Playtime Co. factory. It was first introduced in Rowan Stoll's Computer Database before appearing in RESTRICTED relocation 08-08-1995.mp4 and being mentioned again in Chapter 4. This room had a scaffolding-type ceiling and had shelves holding boxes and toys, some strewn about on the floor. Playtime Co. likely used this place to temporarily store their unused Bigger Bodies Initiative experiments until they found a suitable occupation for them. This area was also where Patty Hall was demoted to on January 4, 1991 and where Kissy Missy was retrieved from on August 8, 1995.
