She and George entered the room with Doey and Susan apologized, but they were blissfully yet unfortunately unaware that Kevin was slowly taking control of Doey. But Susan refused to leave, trying to comfort him, while her husband tried to get out of the room before realizing the door was locked. Susan spent her last moments telling Jack that she would never lie to him, before dying to him along with her husband, only for Doey to have cried after realising what he had done. It is depicted as a colourful cash register appearing with dilated eyes and a series of buttons and utilities such as a weight scale, abacus, and hand-crank. The item appears to be officially trademarked by Playtime Co.

Shoppy may be an item officially sold alongside the many other toys innovated by Playtime Company, as the toy shares many features commonly seen on toys such as bright colours, the abacus, and the lack of official cash register features. (An inanimate PJ Pug-a-Pillar-inspired mug can be seen next to it.) The toy also shares a striking resemblance to many other toys similar to its kind.

In Chapter 4: Safe Haven, multiple bloodied and ruined toys of Shoppy can be found in many of the bloody toy piles.

Out of 11 total casualties, five were declared deceased while the other six were deemed missing, presumably having been devoured by 1170. Dr. Charlie Moff is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, later found by Gerad Lockehart. While it's unclear whether they were ever rehired by Playtime Co., Moff’s original specialization in anesthesiology stands out, hinting at a focused and clinical mind. Compared to some of the more eccentric or academically scattered members of the program, Moff appears to have kept a lower profile. Either way, they made enough of an impression to be tracked down by Lockehart. Charlie is an English given name, often short for Charles. Common in the UK and US. Moff is possibly Scottish in origin; can be a shortened or altered form of “Moffat,” a known surname and place in Scotland. Based on their name, their likely origin is Anglo-Scottish or American.

Camille Rousch[]

Dr. Camille Rousch is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, later found by Gerad Lockehart. Like many others from the program, it’s unknown whether she was ever rehired by Playtime Co. Rousch stands out less for any documented specialization and more for her mysterious absence in most records. Whether that points to a quiet departure or a carefully buried history is unclear, but Lockehart tracked her down anyway. Camille is a French given name, though also used in English-speaking countries (unisex, but more commonly female). Rousch is a Variant of "Rusch" or "Rausch," which are German surnames. "Rousch" is less common but still has Central European roots. Based on her name, her likely origin is French-German or Central European.

Benjamin Rutherford[]

Benjamin Rutherford is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, who was later located by Gerad Lockehart. It remains unclear whether Benjamin was ever rehired by Playtime Co. Interestingly, he is the only known member of the program not referred to with the title "Dr.", which suggests he may not have completed his education or achieved the same level of success as his peers. Gerad Lockehart even mocks him for this in dialogue. Benjamin is a Hebrew name common in Jewish and Christian traditions, widely used across Western countries. Rutherford is an English or Scottish surname. Also famously linked to Ernest Rutherford, a New Zealand-born British physicist. Based on his name, his likely origin is Anglo-New Zealand or British, with a nod to academic prestige.

Although unconfirmed, some fans speculate that Benjamin may be related to Ernest Rutherford, the renowned physicist often called “the father of nuclear physics.” If true, this connection might imply that Benjamin came from a privileged background, possibly contributing to a lack of motivation or ambition.

Evelyn McKabe[]

Dr. Evelyn McKabe is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, who later ended up being found by Gerad Lockehart. It's unknown whether she got hired by Playtime Co again. Evelyn is an English or Irish given name (used for both genders historically, but mostly female now). McKabe is a variation of McCabe, an Irish surname meaning "son of Cába." Common in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Based on their name, their likely origin is Irish.

Dr. Carmine McKabe former member of the Young Geniuses Program, who later became a scientist at Playtime Co at the request of Leith Pierre. He later wrote a weekly checkup on 1166. Carmine is an Italian given name, often male. Derived from Latin carmen (song) or Hebrew karmel (garden). McKabe: Same as above, Irish. Based on his name, his likely origin is mixed Irish-Italian heritage.

Anthony Carrizales[]

Dr. Anthony Carrizales is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, who later ended up being found by Gerad Lockehart. It's unknown whether they got hired by Playtime Co again. Anthony is a common English or Latin-based name. Widely used across Europe and the Americas. Carrizales is a Spanish surname. Derived from carrizo meaning "reed", likely a toponymic name. Based on their name, their likely origin is Hispanic (Spain, Mexico, or Latin America).

Sanji Sukonoko[]

Dr. Sanji Sukonoko is a former member of the Young Geniuses Program, who later ended up being found by Gerad Lockehart. It's unknown whether he got hired by Playtime Co again. Sanji is a Japanese given name; can mean “third child” depending on kanji. Sukonoko appears to be a Japanese-style surname, though not common. Possibly stylized for the game. Based on their name, their likely origin is Japanese.

Brendan[]

Brendan was a Tour Guide for Playtime Co. During one of his tours, one of the visitors fell in a dough vat, and died. Brendan later made an Incident Report, saying that it wasn't his fault, but rather just bad parenting or unstable safety equipment. He only appears in the Incident Report: Brendan document and the Doey the Doughman Commercial VHS. He is portrayed by Romulo Bernal.

Jane Ellswin[]

Jane Ellswin was a Playcare orphan who was planned to be reanimated into a Rabie Baby experiment. In her second round of testing at the Game Station, Jane's performance for the first two games was rather mixed, but interestingly, she managed to make PJ Pug-a-Pillar lose her in Statues, which caught the attention of Harley Sawyer. Upon confronting the child about it, Jane claimed that she used her knowledge of PJ's senses to find a way to distract him, burying clothes in the foam pit.

Unnamed Little Sailor[]
