The Maintenance Closet[1] is a location in Playtime Co., which debuted in Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web" of Poppy Playtime. It is the room hidden behind Elliot Ludwig's Office and is entered to turn on the power for a specific door to the left of Ludwig's Office.
Accessing[]
In order to enter the room, The Player must open the ventilation system behind Ludwig's desk. Then they climb into the vent and navigate through it. Then they drop into the closet.
General appearance[]
The Maintenance Closet is an abandoned room that can only be accessed by pulling off the vent door in Elliot Ludwig's Office. The room is walled with cement, and various items that are scattered along the floor. For example, boxes and sheets of paper can be seen stacked or laying across the floor. A large shelf with a power source can be seen, a Huggy cardboard cut out leaning on said shelf, a step-ladder, and a Bron cardboard cut-out can be seen on the top.
Progressing[]
Once The Player enters the room, Poppy will make her appearance within the chapter, pushing a box away from the ventilation system. She introduces herself, explaining how she has been in the case seen in Poppy Room for a long, long time. She then moves away from the second power source. The Player must loop their GrabPack wire around the the higher power pole first before wrapping around the lower pole, then they complete the circuit. Poppy then can be seen on the side of the vent taken to enter the Backrooms. The Player then goes back to Elliot Ludwig's Office and follow her to the Game Station in order to continue further.
