Loading Bay 1E, also known as the Lift Control Room, is a location seen in Chapter 4: Safe Haven of Poppy Playtime.
This location is where the elevator connecting to the Hatch Room on the upper level is located.
Appearance[]
Loading Bay 1E begins with an elevator that connects to the Hatch Room, which is one level above. Further ahead is the main room, which is a large room with walkways around the corners. On the left side, there is a broken walkway with several objects blocking the other side of the walkway, while on the right side there is an accessible walkway to the far corner of the room. In this far corner, it's possible to see the name of the room in large letters on the left side and at the far end, there is a barred gate with a gap containing a Power Cell, as well as a cardboard cutout of CraftyCorn on the outside; a little further to the right, there is a small wide corridor with a locked gate and a bloodstain; on the right side, the name of the next room, Caves 1C, with the arrow pointing to the door, which contains a Power Cell holder on its right and a Hand Scanner.
In the center of the room, there are several pallets of merchandise scattered around the area, and there is a hole at the end of the room where there is a pile of pallets and a forklift, including a ramp leading up to the right walkway. Among the pallets in the hole are four large Crates, one of which, on the left side, is displaced from the other three, which are more to the right side and between this division there is a Grapple Handle.
Gameplay[]
As The Player and Poppy Playtime descend in the elevator, Poppy laments the accident that befell Kissy Missy in the Hatch Room, affirms that she will not sacrifice her plan, and asks they to stay alert and be careful in the layer they are in, emphasizing that it is worse than the upper layers. When they both arrive at Loading Bay 1E, The Player stays in the room while Poppy stays in the elevator to return to the Hatch Room.
In the room, The Player encounters a locked door that requires access via the Hand Scanner on the right walkway, but which is disabled as the Power Cell holder is empty. They then see a sequence of large Crates leading to a corner blocked by bars containing a Power Cell. The Player then walks through three of them, and there is a wide gap between the third crate and the fourth, causing them to use their GrabPack to grab a Grapple Handle above and swing to another crate, where they can grab the Power Cell through a gap in the bars. Returning to the door, they then place the battery in the holder and use the Blue Hand on the smaller Hand Scanner on the left side of the door. Once the scan is complete, The Player heads to a hallway between rooms that leads to Caves 1C.
