| — Lily to Poppy, Chapter 5 Cinematic Trailer: Welcome Home | ||
Lily is a toy produced by Playtime Co., who will likely be a secondary antagonist in Chapter 5: Broken Things.
First teased in Halloween artwork by Amber Odgen, Lily was officially revealed in a cinematic trailer, which coincided with the launch of a Lily-based T-shirt that emerged from a collaboration.
Appearance[]
Lily has purple hair with a frill and a braid that ends in a scorpion-like tip. According to her concept art, she has a tan undershirt and suspenders with a star on the front that flows out into a triangular skirt that alternates between black, white, and purple. Her body is probably made of wood or plastic, and her eyes are large and cartoony with purple eyeliner around them. Lily wears purple shoes with long black socks with white trim and a yellow star embroidered on each one. While the sock on her left leg is fully extended, the one on her right leg is pulled up to her mid-thigh.
Personality[]
Although there isn't much information on Lily as of right now, her personality is hinted at in the "Welcome Home" cinematic trailer. When she first appears on screen, Lily appears to have an up-going personality, almost childlike.

Trivia[]
- Lily is the second character to have their name revealed via merchandise, the first being Mommy Long Legs.
- Looking closely, she has ball-joints, similar to Miss Delight.
- Her ability to extend her braid is reminiscent of Mommy Long Legs' ability to stretch her limbs.
- It also invokes Cartoon CatNap's ability to extend his tail, as seen in his concept art.
- Her design may be based on a Mommy Long Legs concept design.
- The tip of her hair sort-of resembles a paint brush, which may be hinting to her being an artistic character.
- It may also be a scorpion tail, too.
- Some people also say the tail resembles a closed flower bud, specifically a lily's.
- Other's theorize the tail has a mind of its own and Lily is a Futakuchi-onna, a kind of Japanese spirit that inhabits the hair of women on fast.
- Presumably, Lily is the second monster to resemble a human being.
- Lily is the third character to be named after a plant, the others being Poppy Playtime and Daisy.
- In the Poppy Playtime Yule Log, Lily is presumed to be talking to Poppy.
- In that same video, Lily is presumed to be singing Poppy's Lullaby. This is probably not true, however, as that theme was made for Poppy. So it is most likely Poppy herself singing it.
- The Lily's hair braid color is similar to Rumi's from KPop Demon Hunters.
