Kick-me-Paul, otherwise known under its rebranded name Push-me-Paul, is a toy produced by Playtime Co., which made its debut in Chapter 2: Fly in a Web. The toy can be located in the Rejected Room along with a slew of toys rejected for retail by the Playtime company.
The toy was rejected due to nobody liking it, presumably because of its simple concept, that being that kids could hit or kick the toy.
Appearance[]
Kick-me-Paul is an orange and brown ball with a propeller hat. He appears to have a smile on his face while also spreading his small arms wide out. Due to his circular nature, the only attire featured are green shoes with one white stripe on each shoe. He appears to be made of some sort of leather-like material.
Rejection[]
Kick-me-Paul was rejected due to the toy being laughed at after it's presentation. The toy would later be resubmitted, now under the alias "Push-me-Paul", however the resubmitting would quickly be rejected yet again.
On Kick-me-Paul's second rejection note, someone left a suggestion to revise its name to something ending with the "y" sound. The person who wrote this was likely Jimmy Roth as he encourages this criteria in his own unaffiliated interview. It was later revealed via sticky notes that any concepts or creations related to Kick-me-Paul would be scrapped and destroyed.
