Reason: A co-worker's head is shown being ripped off, alongside an unused version of the tape including music infamous for sounding depressing.

Grab Pack Training is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be first obtained in the Security office. The tape itself, required to obtain the GrabPack, informs new employees on how to use the contemporary GrabPack item and how to use/not to use the mechanism.

Location[]

Plot[]

The Playtime Co.-provided tutorial focuses on their technologies and features throughout their factory, with this tape introducing the GrabPack. The tape provides a straight-forward tutorial on how to operate the GrabPack.

The VHS Tape plays out similarly to a slideshow, having individual pages for each step. The tape starts with teaching the viewer how to properly wield the GrabPack as a yellow mannequin (a representation of The Player) appears to be holding the GrabPack. The tape continues to teach the viewer what to grab and not to grab with the two hand cannons. It specifically states to "only fire at small objects/handles".

The tape continues to take a temporarily, and humorously dark turn, informing the employee to not fire the GrabPack cannons at any co-worker otherwise it may cause "injury". Although sounding harmless, the tape depicts a dead co-worker laying on the floor. The tape concludes by informing the viewer about the conductive wires before ending the tape by thanking the viewer. The case opens and The Player picks up the GrabPack.

Trivia[]

  • The Grab Pack Training has 4 unused versions. One of them has a unused motto of Playtime Co.
    • The unused motto was: "It's what's inside that's special."
    • One of the versions had music from an album called Everywhere at the End of Time. The song playing in the background was called "Childishly fresh eyes".
      • MOB Games might have scrapped this version of the tape due to the song's meaning is disturbing and depressing. The song's meaning was about dementia. After the scrapped version, MOB Games took inspiration from it and "It's Just A Burning Memory" and made the "It's Playtime" song.'
  • In an unreleased build of Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze", the VCR Player for the Training tape was, at one point, a projector screen projecting the contents on the same wall behind the VCR seen in the released Chapter 1.
  • It is the only tape that MUST be watched to get the GrabPack.
