Glowstick Entertainment is an indie game development studio known for creating and publishing various renowned indie horror titles such as Dark Deception, Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals, Super Dark Deception, House, and House 2.
Dark Deception[]
Dark Deception is a chapter-based horror game in which the player takes control of a man known as Doug Houser, a family man and lawyer who has performed a satanic ritual in order to assist a mysterious woman known as Bierce and receive a second chance with his family. Across each of the game's five chapters, the player travels through various levels hosted and controlled by a demon known as Malak, intent on stopping Bierce and killing Doug. To finish each level, the player must collect enough "soul shards" and return to the entrance while evading various enemies and, occasionally, Malak himself. As of 2024, four of the planned five chapters have been released.
Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals[]
Monsters & Mortals is a multiplayer spinoff of Dark Deception where players take control of either a vicious Monster or a trapped Mortal across levels from each chapter and various crossover media. The game comes packaged with several gamemodes, such as the traditional Maze Escape or the arena mode Shard Mayhem.
