Elastic Plastic is a patented material[1] created by Playtime Co. This material was in development by 1990[2], and was officially released to the public on February 2, 1991, in the form of Mommy Long Legs. Elastic Plastic is highly flexible and could stretch to great lengths, as demonstrated in the Mommy Long Legs Commercial VHS. Little is known about the makeup of this material; however, since it is referred to as a plastic, it is likely some form of synthetic polymer.
Elastic Plastic is notably associated with Mommy Long Legs, being used in the manufacture of her toys and her Bigger Bodies version. While unconfirmed, it is likely that Daddy and Baby Long Legs are made of the same material.
Trivia[]
- CatNap, specifically Experiment 1188, was originally intended to utilize Elastic Plastic, giving him a nimble physique. However, this idea was ultimately scrapped due to the material's instability and further need for development at the time.
- ↑ Mommy Long Legs Commercial VHS | "With Playtime Co.'s new patented elastic plastic, you can stretch, pull, and twist Mommy Long Legs in the craziest ways."
- ↑ Experiment 1188 Bigger Bodies Proposal | "The elastic plastic we'd first considered, while applicable to the goals of this experiment, is certainly not in a usable state." | 1990 Reasoning: Experiment 1188 was created in 1990, so this document must have been written in this year as well.
