Reason: Model went unused in the final game.

Daisy's cardboard cutout.

Daisy is a character who had debuted in Chapter 2: Fly in a Web. She is a scrapped antagonist for the Musical Memory game to be replaced by Bunzo Bunny[1], though she still appears in posters around the game. Her name was confirmed on a plaque found in Elliot Ludwig's Office, and in the credits for Chapter 2.

Appearance[]

Daisy was a large, white flower with happy yellow features. The daisy represents Daisy's namesake and she has closed eyes and a benevolent smile. Her body resembles a stick bug or praying mantis, possessing leaves as her hands. Her eye color appears to be realistic; similar to Poppy Playtime but grey instead of blue.

Story[]

Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web"[]

Daisy's marionette form is mentioned in one of the Rejected Room pages as being rejected because she was too creepy for children and would make them cry during her performances. But, like the Orange Robot Toy, her form is never seen in any of the Rejected Room pages and only ever left mentioned.

Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep"[]

Daisy appears through a "Stay Energized!" poster around the factory and Playcare.

Trivia[]

  • In a post from Mob Entertainment's official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Daisy's marionette form is shown as a skin in the Reject Toy Bundle Pack, referencing how she is rejected.
  • In the Chapter 2 trailer and a post from Zachary Preciado's Twitter, Daisy was originally going to be the main antagonist of Musical Memory instead of Bunzo Bunny.

    Daisy's rejection paper.

    • Her rejection note could possibly be a reference to how she went unused in the final game.
    • According to Micah: Daisy was replaced with Bunzo due to Bunzo's theming matching better with Musical Memory, and to alert the player when they were getting closer and closer to death.
  • Unlike other rejected toys in Poppy Playtime, Daisy has her own cutout, voice lines, and collectible.
  • In the files of the game, her voice-lines are labeled 1, 2, 3, and 5, implying the existence of a lost voice-line, or possibly a typo.
  • In the trailer for Chapter 2, Daisy appears to have dotted black eyes (similar to Bunzo's); however, her official model has realistic grey eyeballs like Cassie Cutie-Pillar's.
  • Despite being rejected, she still gets art in Chapter 3.
