- One thing that supports this theory is that The Prototype and Poppy are featured heavily in the marketing. Since both are so crucial to the story, this naturally implies that the end of their stories, and thus the story of the game, is at hand.
- Zach Belanger has however cryptically hinted at a possible Chapter 6 on Discord.
- An interesting detail is that Zach refers to Chapter 6 as "Chapter “6”" using quotation marks, implying that this chapter will not continue off where Chapter 5 left off.
