Chapter 4 Trailer: Pianosaurus Jingle is a teaser trailer for Poppy Playtime's fourth chapter: "Safe Haven". This video cannot be played or seen in any location inside the game as it is exclusively seen on Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel.
Its purpose is to introduce the minor antagonist of the chapter: Pianosaurus.
Analysis[]
The video begins by showing a keyboard on a pink background before a cloud of stars move across the screen, revealing Playtime Co.'s newest toy: Pianosaurus, who grins and sways to the beat of the song as it starts playing. His logo, white piano keys supported by his tail and feature his name, flashes into view at the top of the screen. The commercial begins describing his adjustable features and ends by revealing his base price ($19.95), with Pianosaurus looking at the camera and waving.
The camera then pans slowly back to reveal that the commercial is being played on a strange computer-like console. The commercial starts to glitch out as several distorted images of what look like human eyes and a mouth quickly flash across the screen, all while the Bigger Bodies counterpart of Pianosaurus ominously emerges behind the TV. Once his head has fully emerged, the TV commercial shuts off.
After a brief moment of silence, the monstrous Pianosaurus plays a short tune - his piano teeth flashing different colors in correspondence to the notes he plays - as he stares directly at the camera. The video ends with a Chapter 4 Steam wishlist message and the chapter's release month (January), while the ominous sound of blowing wind is heard in the background.
