| — Mommy Long Legs, Chapter 2 Mobile Trailer | ||
The Chapter 2 Mobile Trailer is a gameplay trailer for the mobile port of Poppy Playtime's second chapter. It was uploaded onto Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel.
The trailer announces the release of Chapter 2: Fly in a Web on mobiles, which was scheduled for August 15, 2022, the same day as the trailer's release.
Analysis[]
The trailer begins in real life, with the boy sitting on a piece of furniture in his room to play Chapter 2: Fly in a Web, and when he presses “PLAY,” he is immediately teleported to Musical Memory. He looks around in surprise, the lights go out, four buttons rise, and the lights come back on, but the screen that was previously white is now reddish with “RED” written on it and the buttons are green, yellow, red, and blue. The boy hears the sound of golden cymbals, looks up, and sees Bunzo Bunny descending. After that, the boy starts playing.
In the game, The Player presses the yellow and blue buttons while in Musical Memory. Sequential scenes show them walking through the Game Station, hitting the Mini Huggies during Wack-a-Wuggy, and pulling up in one place. Next, The Player is shown watching PJ Pug-a-Pillar walking slowly and then holding a hoop during Statues. The next scenes quickly show Bunzo Bunny's jumpscare, the Player using the Green Hand to conduct energy, and a quick transition from a passive Mommy Long Legs at the entrance to Game Station to an aggressive Mommy in the Hidden Labyrinth.
The trailer ends with the Poppy Playtime logo, followed by the availability of Chapter 2 for both iOS and Android while Mommy says "A new playmate!", and the old Mob Entertainment logo.
