The Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 Official Trailer is the debut trailer for Poppy Playtime's first chapter, ending with a short VHS-styled clip. This video cannot be played or even seen in any location inside the game. It is exclusively seen on Mob Entertainment and ZAMination's Youtube channel.
The tape kicks the Poppy Playtime series off with an unfinished preview of Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze", with many previously-teased features being introduced on release. There, however, appears to be many cut features either refined or completely scrapped.

The trailer fades into a scene featuring Huggy Wuggy walking towards the camera through a dark hallway. This scene quickly ends as the scene cuts to cuts The Player walking into the Main Lobby. The scene then cuts to black static as a sentence appears. The sentence is the following:
"THE TOYS CREATED BY THE PLAYTIME CO. FACTORY WERE ALWAYS MANUFACTURED TO SPREAD HAPPINESS ALL AROUND THE WORLD."
THE TOY, FACTORY, MANUFACTURED, and HAPPINESS are all then bolded. The trailer then cuts to a scene of a series of Boogie Bot, Candy Cat, and Huggy Wuggy merchandise. The camera then fades into gameplay of The Player watching the ventilation system seen in the Warehouse opening. The camera finally then flashes straight to the Make-A-Friend machine. Similarly to the opening sequence, The screen cuts to a screen of black static as the following sentence appears:
"WE PUT SAFETY FIRST. USE CAUTION WHEN YOUR GRABPACK RETRACTS ITS HANDS DURING MAINTENANCE"
USE, YOUR, and HANDS are all then bolded. The camera then shows The Player conducting wires during the first part of the game, the middle part of the game in the vents, and the last part of the game on top of the Make-A-Friend room. The opening scene of Huggy Wuggy walking continues as he can be seen walking closer to the screen. The screen cuts to a screen of black static as the following sentence appears:
"MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T GET YOUR GRABPACK CAUGHT IN THE MACHINERY"
DON'T, GET, and CAUGHT are all then bolded. The trailer then cuts to the entrance of the Warehouse as Huggy Wuggy's hand slithers away. The trailer then cuts to The Player walking into the Warehouse. The Player turns around to reveal Huggy's arm slithering away from the entrance. The screen cuts to a screen of black static as the following sentence appears. The screen cuts to a screen of black static as the following sentence appears:
"WELCOME BACK TO PLAYTIME CO. BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR GRABPACK FOR THE DAY, HERE ARE A FEW PERCAUTIONARY REMINDERS. ENSURE THE STRAPS TO YOUR GRABPACK ARE TIGHTLY SECURED AROUND YOUR SHOULDERS. MAKE SURE EACH CANNON IS HELD IN PROPER HAND! PULL THE TRIGGER TO FIRE THE GRAPPLE HAND."
YOU PLAYED WITH TOYS then appear over the text. The ventilation system leading to Make-A-Friend then plays as bloody Boogie Bot toys appear being pulled by the conveyors. The screen cuts to a screen of black static as NOW ITS THEIR TURN then appear over the black static. The camera then cuts to a bloody Bron statue slowly turning towards the camera. The screen cuts to a screen of black static as the following sentence appears: "Experiment 1006: "The Prototype" He seems serviceable as the prime example for the type of vessel which we are trying to create. Despite his digestive tract being wired properly, the Prototype finds no necessity for sustenance (unlike the others). All other experiments can only survive while subsisting on much larger portions." flashes in the background.
The sentence "TO PLAY WITH YOU" appears over the previous text. The camera cuts to gameplay of the Warehouse, the catwalks leading to the Poppy Room, the Security Room, more gameplay of the catwalks leading to the Poppy Room, the Ventilation Chase, then cuts all the gameplay and skips to Huggy Wuggy reaching the end of the hallway.
VHS Tape[]
The video goes into a VHS-type style. A person holding a flashlight and breathing heavily leads themselves towards a Poppy Doll in a blood-filled room. After some time, the doll then starts moving its eyes to look directly at the camera.
Outro[]
The trailer abruptly ends with the Poppy Playtime logo, and text soon fades in promoting the game's Steam page. Finally, the old Mob Games logo is shown.

Trivia[]
- In the trailer, many features shown had either been completely removed or altered for Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" like the unfinished Make-A-Friend area and the tweak in the lighting.
- An example of these removed/altered features is the projector in the Security room. Post-release, the projector now takes the form of the Blue VHS and VCR.
- Another example is the appearance of the Red GrabPack hand during early stages of the game. Post-release, the red hand can only be obtained after collecting all four Power Circuits.
- The most notable example was the appearance of Bron. Bron can later be seen during Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web" , however does not fulfil the role teased in the trailer.
- Another major change is in the catwalks leading to the Poppy Room, where it appears to have an entirely different layout in the trailer.
- A small change in the trailer was in the hallway leading to the Warehouse where there is an unused scare of Huggy peeking through the door when turning around, and was changed to the steam jump scare later.
- This trailer contains an exclusive fact about The Prototype that currently hasn’t been said anywhere else - the fact being that he doesn’t require sustenance to survive.
