The Chapter 1 Mobile Trailer is a gameplay trailer for the mobile port of Poppy Playtime's first chapter. It was uploaded onto Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel.
The trailer announces the release of Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze on mobiles, which was scheduled for March 11, 2022, the same day as the trailer's release.
Analysis[]
The trailer begins in real life, with a boy sitting on the couch to play Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze, and when he presses “PLAY” he is immediately teleported to an unknown room. The boy is surprised by the environment and then starts playing.
In the game, The Player walks down a hallway toward the Lobby. The scene switches back to the real world, showing the boy using the screen's analog stick to walk to the right while observing a stationary Huggy Wuggy. Then, returning to the game, Huggy appears walking down a dark hallway toward the camera.
Sequential scenes show The Player pulling a box in the Storage and Supply, conducting energy through a power switch in the Power Room and running through the Conveyor Belt System and then it quickly cuts to a menacing Huggy Wuggy arriving at the end of the hallway.
The trailer ends with the Poppy Playtime logo, followed by the availability of Chapter 1 for both iOS and Android, and the old Mob Entertainment logo.
