The Caverns is a location seen in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep of Poppy Playtime.
This location is an underground cave system located outside Playcare.
Appearance[]
The Caverns is a large underground cave system that takes place outside of the dome of Playcare. There is a bunch of platforms and catwalks connected to each other. Close to the entrance that leads into Playhouse, there is a big shrine that is a mix of toy body's and parts that was created by CatNap to worship his god, The Prototype.
Gameplay[]
The Player uses their Purple Hand to leap over gaps and utilize temporarily powered pads to quickly get up to an upper catwalk. They make their way over to another electrical puzzle, which they complete to power a lift. Walking across a catwalk, The Player sees an amalgamated structure below composed of toys and metal parts, illuminated by an orange light. CatNap appears and walks toward it. He stands on his hind legs and praises the structure.
As The Player makes their way down the damaged catwalk and looks back, they see CatNap has vanished. Continuing to a door, The Player scans their Blue Hand to open it, allowing them to enter Playhouse.
