The Recordings are audio and video sources that provide insight into the history, lore, and inner workings of Playtime Co. A total of 65 recordings can currently be found across all the games:
- Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze – 5 VHS tapes and 1 recording;
- Chapter 2: Fly in a Web – 7 VHS tapes, 3 intercom recordings and 4 additional recordings;
- Chapter 3: Deep Sleep – 12 VHS tapes, 5 radio recordings and 2 additional recordings;
- Chapter 4: Safe Haven – 17 VHS tapes, 5 audio recordings, 1 radio recording and 1 additional recording;
- PROJECT: PLAYTIME – 2 VHS tapes.
