Bucky is a toy produced by Playtime Co. who appeared in the "Easter Comic" as an accessory to Bunzo Bunny.
Appearance[]
Bucky is a small toy bucket with googly-eyes, red in color (with the word "BUCKY" written on in yellow), a yellow border and a blue handle. He is a friend of Bunzo Bunny, who carries him around while hunting for Easter eggs in the "Easter Comic".
So far, Bucky hasn't been seen in the games.
Personality[]
Bucky doesn’t seem to react (or show any signs of sentience) in the "Easter Comic"; he might as well be an inanimate accesory character.
Easter Comic[]
The Bunzo Bunny Easter comic was a series of illustrated comic panels showcasing Bunzo Bunny as he tries to find the secret eggs hidden around the Playtime Co. Factory. The comic was entirely posted on Mob Entertainment's Twitter account, with the community voting on what would happen overtime. The first poll was posted on April 4th, 2023. Bunzo Bunny was depicted going on an egg hunt with his friend, a bucket with googly-eyes given the name "Bucky", to find "secret eggs". The community is given a choice about whether they should talk to Bron, Boxy Boo, or PJ Pug-a-Pillar.
After the community votes for Bunzo to talk to Bron[1], Bron instructs Bunzo that a secret egg is hidden on the Game Station catwalks. Later that day, Bunzo smells an egg coming from under the closed door the Prototype pulled Mommy Long Legs' dead body from Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web". The community was given a choice: listen to Bron or investigate the smell.
After the community voted for Bunzo to investigate the smell[2] due the community wanted to know whats behind the closed door that the Prototype pulled Mommy Long Legs' dead body from Chapter 2: Fly in a Web, Bunzo crawls under the door and comes across "the secret egg" which is actually a bird egg in a nest that is on a ledge out of reach. The community is given a choice whether to use a stack of boxes, a GrabPack, or Bucky to reach the bird egg.
After the community voted for Bunzo to use the GrabPack conveniently lying on the floor[3], Bunzo fires the GrabPack hand towards the bird egg and successfully grabs onto it. As warned in Grab Pack Training, the GrabPack should only hit small handles/objects. Bunzo decides to look at the bird egg but he found out that he destroyed the bird egg and exposed a bird fetus that has not yet grown in it. Bunzo quickly rushes to somehow fix his mistake; however, he falls deep into the factory due to he falls into a pit because he was broke a plank above the pit that he wasn't watching. Bunzo gets heavily injured, is unable to stand, and is barely able to talk. The community is given a choice: call for help, wait, or give up.
After the community voted for Bunzo to call for help, Bunzo, with all his might, yelled for help to no response. Unable to do anything due to his injured state, he waits an hour, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 8 days, and 15 days with no response while he draws his comics to retell his story of how he got trapped in the pit. Bunzo finally dies while documenting how many days he's on, attempting to write what appears to be 30 days. Bunzo's story ends with a new tweet showcasing a render of Bunzo's dead body rotting away. Weirdly, his upper forehead appears to have been bitten out, and he is missing both of his eyes and front teeth. Since there are long scratch marks on the wall near the corpse, it's possible that the Prototype or CatNap took the eyes and teeth.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, Bucky, excluding the scrapped characters, is the only character who has never appeared in either Poppy Playtime, Project: Playtime or even Poppy Playtime: Forever up to now, but only in the Easter comic.
