8/8/95 Emergency Alert is a VHS tape recording found within Chapter 3: Deep Sleep of Poppy Playtime.
The tape features an emergency alert announced on August 8, 1995 about Playtime Co. issuing a work force danger alert during The Hour of Joy.
Location[]
The tape can be obtained in one of the first rooms of the Counselor's Office and the VCR player is located closely to the tape. The video and audio plays on the various television screens around the area.
Analysis[]
On August 8, 1995, an emergency alarm sounds in response to an incident at the Playtime Co facility. It was activated to aid both employees and non-employees in surviving the Hour of Joy, as living toys went on a rampage, decimating the workforce. However, the VHS tape is interrupted by a third party accessing them, probably influenced by the Prototype, attempting to mislead them into opening the doors so that hostile entities can enter and attack. The message displays "OPEN THE DOORS NOW. THE HOUR OF JOY HAS ARRIVED" indicating that the influence of the Prototype is no match for the survivors.

Theorizing[]
It's possible that the Prototype can influence VHS tapes, as evidenced by another tape named RESTRICTED_relocation_08-08-1995.mp4 being influenced by a third party, likely the Prototype. The aforementioned tape also takes place during The Hour, with white text obscured by red text, attempting to deceive employees into releasing the straps holding Kissy Missy.
